Paulina Herrera Letelier is a Chilean architect based in Sardinia. Since 2014, she has been dedicated to the designing of objects in collaboration with various companies and local artisans.
Her approach is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the diverse kinetic processes in the environment and their interaction with the surroundings. In her vision, people relate to the space and each other through movement, trajectories, and the unfolding of time. In this context, objects and spaces take on variable forms.
Her proposal is to create emotional objects and spaces that combine function and dynamics through contemporary forms that evoke movement.
Many of her projects are influenced by elements of the Mediterranean landscape and culture, symbolizing a high quality of life. She connects them on a playing field along with variables such as mathematical operations, digital language, sounds, and animations.
She has a strong affinity for the textil field, exploring exploring various weaving techniques, both traditional and contemporary, for manual lomms and jacquard. Since 2014, she has designed several collections of rugs and fabrics for interior decoration for Mariantonia Urru.
